Heather Leech

Heather Leech, owner of the Leechpit buy/sell/trade, utilizes found objects and oddities to create surrealistic dolls, three-dimensional assemblages, and her trademark "doll-o-ramas or micro-universes." Her installation work is often larger than life, motorized, and interactive, such as her piece "The Dressing Womb." Located within the Leechpit, customers are encouraged to explore the adult size womb, and "be born again." Her work has been shown in the Cornerstone Gallery at Colorado College and has been featured on coloradoculturecast.com and is currently on display at The Leechpit Gallery of Contemporary Folk Art.
