National recording artist Thomas “Tony” Exum Jr. is a contemporary jazz, R&B and funk saxophonist, songwriter and performer with a sultry and soulful sound. In 2019, Tony released his single “My Name’s Tony” receiving national airplay, charting on the Smooth Jazz Network top 100 chart for several weeks. In addition, the My Name’s Tony Spring/Summer 14 city tour, included performances at the San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival in San Diego, California, Spaghettini’s in Long Beach, California, The Soiled Dove Underground in Denver Colorado, Jazz in The Park in Prattville, Alabama and the Winter Park Jazz Festival in Winter Park Colorado to name a few.

Beyond work as a recording artist Tony has embarked on a career in radio hosting on Colorado Springs FM Station Jazz 93.5 FM with over 20 hours per week of on-air time. In addition, Tony entered a business venture in late 2019 with Kas’tell Vodka as their Global Brand Ambassador.

As a Curbside Culture host site, you will be responsible for (1) providing electricity by running an extension cord to the performance location, and (2) gathering a small audience to enjoy the performance. Pricing and performance options are listed below, and all financial transactions should be conducted directly with the performer, in a mutually convenient manner.

  • 30 Minute Solo Performance: $250
  • 60 Minute Solo Performance: $350
  • 90 Minute Solo Performance: $500

Launched in 2020 by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Curbside Culture brings the arts out into the community by facilitating small-scale live performances at private residences, business events, cultural venues, assisted living facilities, and neighborhood gatherings. Perfect for birthday parties, graduations, weddings, and a variety of special events, Curbside Culture offers community members an intimate and enjoyable cultural experience, and a meaningful way to help support local artists.

All Curbside Culture performing artists operate as Independent Contractors, and the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region is not responsible for their actions or the content of their performance. Curbside Culture performing artists, host sites, and audience members are encouraged to follow all State, county and local protocols for mitigating the spread of the COVID-19 virus. If the performance site becomes unsafe at any time, performing artists reserve the right to leave immediately–without any obligation to reschedule or provide a refund.
