 ural heritage of the Hispanic community during the second annual Fiesta La
 tina celebration on Saturday\, Aug. 11. Sponsored by The Gazette\, Ent and
  Comcast\, this special event is highlighted by a variety of musical enter
 tainment and dancing demonstrations from area Latino entertainers and comm
 unity groups. Entertainment will include many popular regional dance group
 s\, along with musical diversions. Piñata activities for the kids will 
 also be featured during the celebration\, including an area where kids can
  help make piñatas for Zoo animals (the piñatas are stuffed with ani
 mal treats). The Zoo’s collection of animals from south of the bord
 er\, such as the rare mountain tapir and chestnut mandible toucan\, will b
 e showcased during Fiesta Latina\, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo docents and i
 nterpreters will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
