 y_Alives_First_Classical_Music_Salon_Barbecue\nEvent Date Begin: 2009-05-2
4\nEvent Date End: 2009-05-24\n\nAs this is Memorial Day Weekend\, the tra
ditional summer kickoff\, doesn't a barbecue sound like fun?\nThe concert
will feature works by Scarlatti\, Chopin\, Debussy\, Gershwin \nand (looko
ut!)\, a 2-piano/8-hand arrangement of John Philip Sousa's 'Stars and Stri
 pes Forever'!!\n\nThe May 24 performers will be:\nJan Eklund\, violin\nCar
 l Eklund\, piano\nJan Saffir\, piano\nPaul Stephens\, piano\nAbe Minzer\,
piano \n\nHusband/wife duo\, Carl and Jan Eklund\, are frequent performers
for Classically Alive. They will be playing the complete Debussy Sonata f
or Violin and Piano. They performed some of this last year for the Americ
an Cancer Society fundraiser hosted by Classically Alive\, and I am so loo
king to forward to hearing the complete sonata this time. They claim its b
etter than a year ago!\n\nMaking their debut with Classically Alive will b
e husband/wife duo-pianists Paul Stephens and Jan Saffir. Jan will play s

 \, let's first see if 4 pianists can get along :)\n\n\nStart time: 4:30 p.
