  'Latina Roots: Block Prints & Paintings.'   These block prints are from a
  series of illustrations which tell the story of the artist's maternal his
 tory from San Elizario on the Rio Grande River near El Paso\, Texas. The c
 olorful large scale paintings express an intense desire to recreate a dial
 ogue with nature. While the paintings and prints spring forth from a diffe
 rent intent\, the same artistic voice may  be seen in the lyrical shapes\,
  expressive colors and gestures.\n \n\nStart time: 8am-5pm
