 llation by Wendy Mike\, local artist and FutureSelf founding director.  Be
 fore moving to Colorado Springs in 1994\, Mike was a singer\, dancer\, act
 ress\, and artist in New York City.  Although she has produced art sporadi
 cally in the past few years\, Mike sees this show\, A Paper Doll That I Ca
 n Call My Own\, as her re-emergence as an individual artist.  'It's been m
 y privilege to facilitate the creative growth of young people over the yea
 rs\, and I'm excited to now have the opportunity to create something of my
  own\,' says Mike.  She's also looking forward to creating something conce
 ptual and different. This installation is about an idea and an experience\
 , rather than a product.\nOpen for just two nights\, Friday\, January 22nd
  and Saturday\, January 23rd\, A Paper Doll That I Can Call My Own will ha
 ve a strong interactive component for the audience\, with the possibility 
 of taking home a souvenir of your creation.  'This show is all about fun a
 nd play and the idea of our appearance&ndash\;how we perceive ourselves\,'
  says Mike.\n\nStart time: Two nights only\, each beginning at 5:30 pm
