 Composer\, Marcelo Coronel from Argentina guitarist\, was born in Buenos A
 ires and now resides in the city of Rosario. Having played the guitar sinc
 e childhood\, he graduated from the School of Music of Rosario's National 
 University with the degree &ldquo\;Licenciado en M&uacute\;sica Especialid
 ad Guitarra.&rdquo\;  Marcelo has composed for guitar solo\, duo\, and qua
 rtet\, as well as guitar duos with flute or clarinet. His main pursuit has
  been in the field of Argentine folk music and modern projections of these
  art forms. He has published music scores in Germany and in Argentina. His
  works have also been recorded on CDs released in Canada\, Brazil\, Argent
 ina\, and the United States. Marcelo performs regularly as soloist. He has
  offered concerts in several Argentine provinces as well as in the capital
 \, Buenos Aires. He has toured Latin America\, appearing in Chile\, Peru\,
  and the Dominican Republic\, and has offered seminars on the forms and ge
 nres of Argentine music. Popular music and chamber music ensembles with wh
 ich he has recorded and concretized include Escarbanda (trio of piano\, gu
 itar and percussion)\, Los Khorus (quartet of guitar\, charango\, quena an
 d siku)\, and El entrevero (guitar duo). Since 1992\, he has played as a m
 ember of Meridiano\, a duo of flute and guitar with Maria Amalia Maritano.
  Marcelo divides his time between composing\, playing\, recording\, editin

 Hanagan\,\, woodwind specialist and conductor\, is an active freelance mus
 ician in the Pikes Peak Region.  She has performed as soloist with the Pue
 blo Symphony\, Pueblo Chamber Orchestra and the Alpine Orchestra\, and has
  also played in the Colorado Springs Philharmonic\, Fine Arts Center music
 al productions\, Broadmoor Pops and Chamber Orchestra of the Springs.   As
  music coordinator of Saint Andrew's Recital Series\, Joyce welcomes local
 \, national and international musicians to perform in the beautiful and in
 timate setting of Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in Manitou Springs.  Las
 t season was highlighted by the premiere of the orchestral arrangement of 
 Suite Indiana by Jorge Cardoso with the guitar duo\, Dos Am&eacute\;ricas 
 and with Joyce conducting.   She also frequently performs in the series. J
 oyce is an adjunct professor of Music at Colorado College and teaches kind
 ergarten/first grade general music in Widefield School District.    Guitar
 ist/Composer\, Jim Bosse\, formerly guitarist with Billy Joel\, shifted in
 terest to classical music as well\, and has played in over 30 master class
 es with many of the world's great guitarists.  Jim founded the Southern Co
 lorado Guitar Society in 1986\, and has taught guitar at Adam State in Ala
 mosa\, CO\, and Colorado State University in Pueblo.  Jim has performed ov
 er 200 concerts in the Americas\, composes classical guitar music\, and ar
 ranges popular music for classical guitar.  He has published 2 books and r

 st\, Don Perkins is very busy performing throughout the Front Range.  Sinc
 e arriving in Colorado 17 years ago\, he has become a dedicated participan
 t in Chamberre in the Rockies\, Evergreen Chamber Orchestra recital series
 \, Colorado Chamber Music Society\, Amateur Chamber Music Players\, and th
 e Boulder Chamber Orchestra.  He has organized several recitals and has fo
 rmed We Three Strings\, Estes Trio\, and Decker Trio.  He has performed se
 veral of his own transcriptions for small ensembles.  Don has performed at
  Lincoln Center in New York City\, at the World's Fair in Knoxville\, Tenn
 essee\, as well as two European tours\, where he served as Principal Celli
 st for the American Youth Symphony and Musicians of Saint Clair.  His teac
 hers include Loren Scott Mallory\, Irvin Kauffman\, and Richard Slavich (U
 niversity of Denver). He continues to receive coaching from Slavich\, Greg
  Dufford of Metropolitan State College\, and Katharine Knight formerly of 
 DaVinci String Quartet. Don lives in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver 
 with his wife Becky.  Pianist\, Abe Minzer\, is creator/director of &ldquo
 \;Classically Alive&rdquo\;.  Under the sponsorship of the Pikes Peak Arts
  Council\, Classically Alive hosts over 30 musicians and other artists\, a
 nd features diverse monthly at-home music/arts salons\, in addition to pro
 grams across Colorado. A venue for painters\, poets\, discussion\, great g
 ood and camaraderie\, Classically Alive salons host a wide range of musica
 l styles including contemporary.  Minzer earned a doctorate in music at We
 st Virginia University\, and taught piano and chamber music at Goucher Col
 lege in Baltimore\, MD.  He plays concerts throughout the US\, and has app
 eared as piano soloist in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major with
  the Pittsburgh Symphony.  Dr. Minzer has performed and introduced composi
 tions of Ofer Ben-Amots' at many venues\, including Classically Alive\, Te
 mple Beit Torah\, and for the PILLAR Adult Education school.  Currently\, 
 Dr. Minzer is an instructor at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs 
 (UCCS)\, teaching courses such as 20th Century Music and Intro to Music.
