 gion. We will also bid a fond farewell to Aaron Anstett\, who has served a
 s the Poet Laureate for 2008-2010.\nThe Pikes Peak Poet Laureate Project h
 as selected Jim Ciletti to serve as the Pikes Peak Poet Laureate for 2010-
 2012.\nCiletti. Jim was selected as the 2010-2012 Pikes Peak Poet Laureate
  because of the success of his own work\, his long history of service in b
 ringing poetry to our community\, his energy and passion\, and his vision 
 for projects and activities that will inspire and celebrate in the Pikes P
 eak region for the next two years.\n\nCiletti follows poet Aaron Anstett\,
  who was chosen as the inaugural Pikes Peak Poet Laureate. One of Anstett'
 s projects as Poet Laureate in 2008-2010 included two editions of 'Poetry 
 While You Wait\,' a collection of poetry penned by residents of the Pikes 
 Peak region.Ciletti will serve a two-year term and take his work to busine
 ss gatherings\, college campuses\, K-12 schools\, community centers\, and 
 more in El Paso and Teller counties. The Pikes Peak Poet Laureate Project 
 will also connect other regional poets with community groups and schools f
 or special events.\nCiletti has been the poet-in-residence at the Orme Sch
 ool Fine Arts Festival in Mayer\, Arizona for 40 years\, and he teaches on
 going creative writing workshops at Fremont Correctional Facility. Recent 
 publications include Old Pickup Trucks on Taos Streets and Sky for the for
 thcoming issue of EDGZ\; Why I Love My Brother\, the opening chapter of Ji
 m's novel in progress\, published in the Winter 2009 issue of Passager\, I
 ssue #47\; and poems selected by Dona Stein for her Radio Show Poetry Anth
 ology\, due out in May. He has also published two books of poems: Sunfire 
 (2007) and At The Crack Of Dawn (2002). \n\nStart time: 4:30 p.m.
