 rate my personal approach to oil\, acrylic and pastel painting.  We will f
 ocus on esthetic principles of visual composition. Drawing is an essential
  tool to develop ideas. Research (drawing) from nature and photography for
  the visual details that create interest and life into a work is vital.\nT
 here will be individual evaluation\, suggestions and critique for each stu
 dent.  There will be demos on starting a work and use of materials. During
  class we will consider glazing and underpainting as well as other techniq
 ues.  Suggestions for materials for painting is based upon instructor.  \n
