 al training at the Cleveland Institute of Music\, where he earned a bachel
 or's degree in piano and organ performance\, an MM in piano performance\, 
 and a DMA in piano performance and music theory. He is an assistant profes
 sor of music at Colorado State University-Pueblo\, where he teaches applie
 d piano\, piano-related courses\, and music theory. Dr. Metchkov also taug
 ht at the Cleveland Institute and Youngtown State University. He is artist
 ic advisor for the San Angelo Piano Festival and directs the Pueblo Keyboa
 rd Arts Festival. He has performed with the Cleveland Institute Orchestra\
 , and at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City\, and at the Kennedy Center fo
 r the Performing Arts in Washington\, DC. He has recorded works for piano 
 and orchestra by Franz Liszt and Cesar Franck. This event is part of the 2
