Participants will learn firsthand about the diverse mix of peoples who traveled and lived along the old Santa Fe Trail: the Southern Cheyennes and Arapahos, fur traders, ciboleros, soldiers, and early ranchers. This is a full-day immersion in the rich history and material culture of the Southern Plains. Mark Lee Gardner will be the tour guide. Mark is an independent historian, author, musician, and consultant.
