DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Event Name: Beneath a Fairy Moon=0D=0AEvent Url: http://www.peakradar.com/event/detail/441353401=0D=0AEvent Date Begin: 2011-08-19=0D=0AEvent Date End: 2011-08-27=0D=0A=0D=0AImagination Celebration's Dragon Theatre Productions presents 'Beneath a Fairy Moon,' a community inclusive theatre production based on 10 adapted and original fairytales.=0D=0A=Fairytales and story telling are a deeply embedded part of our culture – and often, as children, it's our first introduction to the world of imagination and make-believe. Some of the stories you'll see are familiar, some are not as familiar, and some are completely new. Join the Moon from Han Christian Anderson's What the Moon Saw as she tells the children what she sees during her nightly flight across the sky. A cast of fairies plant story seeds for the children to grow. Ten stories in all, some suggested by members of the community, and all written and adapted by Dan Shaw (Associate Professor at Colorado College). Original music by Ariel Baty, with Dan's lyrics. =0D=0A=This is a unique community-inclusive production in every sense of the word, from the stories, to the actors, to the production, that welcomes the time and talents of any community member willing to contribute. “We're very pleased to be a program of the Imagination Celebration and we're very grateful to be performing in such a beautiful space as the Manitou Art Theatre” says Director, Cyndi Parr. “None of this would be possible without the ongoing efforts of Matt, Jane, Jeff, and Velma Hall, who all work tirelessly in every aspect of the production to ensure opportunities continue to be available for all members of our community, and who live daily by the motto: 'You want a part, you got it!'=0D=0A=Dragon Theatre Productions: Where else are you going to see ten happy fairytale endings in two hours?=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:Friday, August 19th - 7:30pm=0D=0A=Saturday, August 20th - 2:30 and 7:30pm=0D=0A=Sunday, August 21st - 4:00pm=0D=0A=Friday, August 26th - 7:30pm=0D=0A=Saturday, August 27th - 2:30 and 7:30pm=0D=0A=
