Learn the joys and rewards of volunteering at Bear Creek and Fountain Creek Nature Centers during this orientation session. Volunteering offers opportunities to meet new friends and help people enjoy their parks and nature centers while pursuing your own interests in our natural, cultural and outdoor recreation resources. The nature centers have volunteer positions on weekdays and weekends for anyone 18 years of age and older. Volunteers provide information to nature center visitors and programs for enthusiastic school children, help with special events and projects, and assist with public programs and hikes. Please join us for this orientation class session to find out more about becoming a nature center volunteer. Contact Paula Megorden at Bear Creek Nature Center, 520-6388, by August 21, 2008.
