The Old Colorado City Historical Society is hosting a discussion and book signing for The Borders Within: Encounters with Mexico and America by Doug Monroy, noted Mexican American historian and Colorado College professor. He will discuss how Mexican immigration is changing our understanding of "place" and popular perception of western U.S. history. The book will be available for purchase.
