Add Review/CommentDr. Jeff Broome, a philosophy professor at Arapahoe Community College, will discuss the complicated legislation that allowed for compensation to settlers suffering losses by Indian raids at The Old Colorado City History Center, Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. The History Center is located at 1 South 24th Street(corner of W. Pikes Peak & 24th St.) Dr. Broome is a published author and recipient of a Fellowship from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center (2001, 2003) in Cody, Wyoming. He is descended from a pioneer family who settled near Pueblo in 1863.
