Folk Art for a cause is fine reason to head out to Rock Ledge Ranch this weekend. Fine American folk artists from across the nation will gather to present their art to festival attendees. The quality of the handmade artwork, the charming setting of the historic Ranch and the unique beauty of the Garden of the Gods Park all contribute to this festival's reputation as one of the finest of its kind in the nation. You will find beautifully crafted original folk art, fine art and jewelry, clothing with flair, elegant florals, seasonal decorations, hand-crafted furniture, glass and many more one-of-a-kind items that are unique to this group of carefully chosen artists. Enjoy food, music, historic tours, the Heritage Shop and the Piecing Partners quilt auction. The festival has the privilege and worthy goal of raising funds that continue the restoration and preservation of Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site and Living History Museum. This year the festival will benefit the continued restoration of the second floor of the Orchard House on its 100th Anniversary. The Ranch depicts life in the Pikes Peak Region from 1775 to 1907 and is a respected member of the National Register of Historic Places.
