Originating in Andalusia, Spain, flamenco is complex, passionate and culturally rich and combines acoustic guitar playing, singing, chanting, dancing, and staccato handclapping. Pikes Peak Community College hosts the world-renowned Maria Benitez Institute for Spanish Arts in the presentation of Juan Siddi and Company Pasion Flamenca, at the PPCC Centennial Campus Theatre located at 5675 S Academy Blvd. on Thursday, October 11 at 7:30 pm.
