    Bistro de Pinto (26 E. Kiowa, Colorado Springs, CO 80903) will host a Fine Wine, Food & Art pairing, with a Wild Game theme, featuring the works of local artist Marie Baehr. Fine wines will be paired with Chef Mike Pinto's gourmet cuisine and original artwork created and presented by Marie Baehr, to complement each course. All artwork is available for purchase with 10% of the sale benefiting Cottonwood Artists School, a non-profit school providing art education to the Pikes Peak region. Two seatings are offered at 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. For reservations please call: 719.473.3538. Bistro de Pinto's doors opened April 25, 2006 in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs with the vision of bringing a unique healthy gourmet selection to the surrounding community. Focused on using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, the menu items as well as the daily specials are all born from the creativity of the Executive Chef/Owner Mike Pinto. The cozy ambiance of the dining room seats thirty-two patrons, affording the bistro the opportunity to cater to each individual. Tammy Pinto, Manager/Owner, has focused on providing an enjoyable and memorable experience by creating a beautiful atmosphere with detailed exquisite service. Baehr Art & Design Marie Baehr works with various media to capture the power of the positive human experience. Her use of color reflects our beautiful surroundings here in Colorado and observations from traveling the world. For eight years she has studied and practiced with various fine art media such as: printmaking, mixed media, collage, digital photography and oil and acrylic paint. Marie truly believes that "color speaks to the heart." Each piece is lovingly created to touch yours. Her work is shown at Cucuru Gallery Cafe, in Old Colorado City, and Marie Baehr Studio, in Colorado Springs, and is held in many corporate and private collections throughout the United States.
