Add Review/CommentA show and sale of Cottonwood artists' newest creations opens with a reception at Cottonwood Artists School in conjunction with the annual Cottonwood Instructors' Show and Cottonwood's 10th birthday Celebration, November 2, 2007, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 25 Cimino Drive, Colorado Springs. You'll also see "FIBERS WITH A TWIST,"which represents the combined interests and talents of three local fiber artists, Maryse Levenson, Linda G. Lugenbill, and Gail Necker. Necklaces braided with silk threads, basketry forms highlighting natural elements, brightly painted gourds featuring creatively stitched openings. "FIBERS WITH A TWIST" continues Saturday, November 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The artists will be available to discuss and demonstrate their particular aspect of fiber art during this two day sale event.
