by Heather Raffo A co-production with Curious Theatre Company. The very wonderful Karen Slack, so sensational in las season's Syringa Tree, returns to play several Iraqi women in this play inspired by the author's 1993 return to Baghdad after the Gulf War. The women include a sexy painter, a Bedouin wife, a doctor, a mullaya, an exile and a girl. Together, as the Wall Street Journal says, they bring us "closer to the inner life of Iraq than a thousand slick-surfaced TV reports.
