Movie Screening: Spirits of the Rainforest
October 18, 2007
Add Review/CommentAs a follow-up to the WILDLY popular film, "Manu - Peru's Hidden Rainforest," Imagination Celebration is proud to present the Emmy Award-winning documentary, "Spirits of the Rainforest," by Colorado Springs' own Mary K. Helsaple and Neal Williams. Come be transported to the heart of the tropical rainforest and discover the plants, animals and people who call this magical place "home." This spell-binding movie will leave you breathless as you soar in, around and above the color, mystery and wonder of one of the earth's disappearing treasures. Rainforest refreshments will be provided and the film makers will host a Q&A session afterwards, giving you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what it took to make the film. Please note: Due to the nature of the film and some nudity of indigenous peoples, the film is recommended for 8th grade and above. This is a FREE event but reservations are required. Please call 387-9015 to register.
