Cheyenne Mountain State Park Holiday Open House

Add Review/CommentThe gorgeous new Cheyenne Mountain State Park will have its first annual public Holiday Open House on Saturday December 8th and Sunday December 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Park Visitor Center. Refreshments including coffee, hot cocoa, cookies and treats will be served all day and drawings will be held for special prizes. There will be programs for children of all ages including hikes and Cheyenne Mountain State Park wildlife interpretive programs, and crafts for kids. On Saturday, guided hikes will begin at 9:00am and a wildlife interpretive program will be held at 11 a.m. There will also be a "Create a Bird Feeder" craft table for kids that will begin at 1 p.m. On Sunday, the guided hikes will begin at 9 a.m. and a wildlife interpretive program at 11 a.m. in the Visitor Center. At 1 p.m., fireside nature stories for children will be held in the Visitor Center. Access to the Visitor Center does not require a Parks Pass, however, hikes and programs that include access to the park will require a Parks Pass.
