Schools, scouts, community groups, and the general public are invited to visit a bird banding research station at Chico Basin Ranch (southeast of Colorado Springs). Program is free and open to all ages but reservations are required. Participants will see live birds, in hand, as educators and banders, capture, process, and band songbirds. Some individuals will be chosen to help release the birds.
