Manitou Springs, fine artist, Sonja Carr will be exhibiting her latest works, entitled Young and Old: A Look at the Future January 15 to February 26, 2008. The exhibition opens with a reception for the artist on Friday, January 18 from 5pm to 8pm. This opening reception coincides with a BAC Hagnauer Gallery opening reception, as well. Ms. Carr hold a BFA from the University of Denver, and a Masters Degree in Art Education. She developed the art program and taught in the Woodland Park school district for over 20 years. During her tenure, her students received numerous awards in the local art scene, while Ms. Carr received Teacher of the year, locally, state and nationally.
