Who needs Thomas the Tank Engine when you've got historically significant and mechanically distictive collection of operating steam engines and mining equipment? This event will provide an expanded technical experience for visitors at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry for an exciting, fun-filled weekend. Witness hundreds of operating, quality engineered and handcrafted scale models- Turbines, Airplane Engines, Trains, & More! Hear the sounds of Antique Stationary Engines and Historic Tractors, and watch Lathe & Milling Demonstrations. See the operation of the Museum's multi-ton steam engines and mining equipment including the annual operation of the 1890's Yellow Jacket II Gold Ore Processing Stamp Mill. Museum tours, Keep-What-You-Find Gold Panning and hay rides. Bring a picnic and explore over 27 acres.
