Chamber Orchestra of the Springs: Songs of Love and Destiny

This concert's got it all: The passions of the Andalusian gypsy tale "El Amor Brujo" by Manuel de Falla, the dramatic temperament of the horn displayed in Paul Hindemith’s Horn Concerto, and the lyric and optimistic Symphony Number 5 by Franz Schubert. These three works comprise the program for "Songs of Love and Destiny," presented by the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs on Saturday, January 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Broadmoor Community Church, and on Sunday, January 20 at 3:00 p.m. at First Christian Church. Linda Weise, soprano, and Matthew Scheffelmann, horn, are featured soloists for this concert. Tickets for this concert are only $15 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors.
