Photographer Jim Keen presents Great Ranches of the West

In a special First Friday Art Walk, photographer Jim Keen will be on hand to sign his newest book Great Ranches of the West which contains nearly 600 photographs of over 30 ranches from the west. His book has been called "an eye-opening and heart touching portrait of a culture and industry that is in great danger of being lost." This book took him nearly 5 years to complete and he traveled to 17 states to record the stories and photographs of some of America's greatest ranches. Great Ranches of the West was nominated and selected as a finalist for best regional book of the year by The Mountain and Plains Independent Booksellers Association. The winners will be announced this fall. We hope to see you there to hear first hand about Jim's experiences while doing this historic project.
