Blues is probably the purest American music ever produced and along with its jazz counterpart is the only true American music form. What better venue for an outstanding blues music festival than in the shadow of Pikes Peak, America's mountain? (None, apparently.)

Headlining the June installment of this two-part musical celebration is none other than the Queen of Blues herself, Koko Taylor & Her Blues Machine! Local favorites will also take to the stage, including the Jim Adams Blues Band and the Jack Trades.

This year's festival looks to be even more popular than the last, so purchase your tickets soon or you may miss out on the fun!
