This is a rare opportunity to catch an informal (and informative) session with two of the artists currently exhibiting work at the Smokebrush Gallery. Local artist Laura BenAmots will lecture about her body of work X3 which explores portraits, the expression of skin and snapshots of sensuality. [Please note that some of the work is erotic and not suitable for viewing by minors.] Amundson will be sharing insights into his creative process, and discussing particular works from his riotous new exhibition, "Misreading the Signs." While Amundson's work often elicits bursts of laughter, this is serious business–do not miss this opportunity to hear from this masterful satirist.

Both artists will answer questions after their respective sessions and BenAmots will also be available to sign her new book Eros on Canvas at the end of the evening.
