Add Review/CommentIn Cajun folklore, feufollet is the word for will-o-the-wisps, the mysterious lights that can be seen hovering near the ground, usually in dark swamplands or marshes. For the members of La Bande Feufollet, who have been among the most promising exponents of Cajun folk music for the past decade, the songs they play enchant audiences, and are not unlike these alluring lights.
The World Music Series at PPLD was initiated in 2005 as a way to create cross-cultural awareness in the Pikes Peak region through a series of visual and performing arts presentations from around the world.
This event is presented by Pikes Peak Library District in partnership with Colorado College and the Gay and Lesbian Fund for Colorado.
