Explore the national parks of the Canadian Rockies; discover world famous Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Kootenay & Waterton Lakes National Parks in this gorgeous travelogue. February 10th at 2:00 p.m. “Rock Climbing – How do they do it?” Presented by Bob Hostetler – Climber, Volunteer Park Interpreter. Extreme sports like rock climbing continue to increase in popularity. Have you wondered just how those rock climbers do it? Maybe you have been thinking of giving it a try yourself? Join us to learn the basics and get your questions answered. February 17th at 2:00 pm “Garden of the Gods or Garden of the Gullies” Presented by Mark Hesse – Rocky Mountain Field Institute Join us to learn about the Rocky Mountain Field Institute's efforts to restore severely damaged and eroded sites within the Garden of the Gods Park with the help of community volunteers. February 24th at 2:00 pm “Forest Health and Oak Brush Management in Garden of the Gods” Presented by Dennis Will – Certified Forester, City of Colorado Springs Forestry Division Join us to learn about the management efforts to increase forest health, re-invigorate the dying oak brush and reduce the risk of wildfire. March 2nd at 2:00 pm “The Amazing Continental Divide Trail” Presented by the Continental Divide Trail Alliance World-class adventure, one trail, 3,100 miles, 5 states, 20 wildernesses, 3 national parks, 1 national monument, 25 national forests, 8 BLM land areas, join us to learn more!
