The Summer Music Festival Orchestra -- comprised of talented students from the best music schools around the country and conducted by the inimitable Scott Yoo--prepares for a concert like nothing you've ever seen before. International soprano superstar Measha Brueggergosman will perform Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915. Then four dazzling soloists–Margaret Fuller Simpson, soprano; Shannon Magee, mezzo soprano; Brian Stinar, tenor; Ashraf Sewailam, bass–will join the Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9.The Summer Music Festival Orchestra presents an orchestra concert, featuring the music of Barber and Beethoven.
