In the fall of 2007, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs' Visual and Performing Arts Department hired two new faculty: Matt Barton and Corey Drieth. Each were selected because of their exciting artistic practices, rapport with students, and exhibition records. The Gallery of Contemporary Art is pleased to announce an exhibition designed to welcome these two talents to the Colorado Springs community. Join us at the Gallery for a public reception at 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2008. If you are a member of the Gallery or a current UCCS student, you may come earlier in the evening to peruse the exhibition and attend a lecture by the artists at 6:00 p.m.
