    Plein Air Art Show: Painting Historic Manitou Springs

    Artist Carol McIntyre will join 24 other Springs regional artists invited to celebrate the historic town and area of Manitou Springs through their artwork. From June 19-30, you can see these artists at work in the streets, on the trails, and in front of historic buildings capturing a moment in time on canvas and paper.     Artist Carol McIntyre will join 24 other Springs regional artists invited to celebrate the historic town and area of Manitou Springs through their artwork. From June 19-30, you can see these artists at work in the streets, on the trails, and in front of historic buildings capturing a moment in time on canvas and paper. Come along and watch as Carol and these artists interpret Manitou Springs' scenes, magically applying color with brushes, palette knives, pastels, or pencil. All completed paintings will appear in a show to be held at Manitou Springs' L.I.W. Cargo Gallery from July 1-31. Come and view this exhibit at an opening reception to be held on Saturday July 5th from 6-8 pm. The gallery is located at 713 Manitou Avenue, or call 719-685-0452 for more details.
