"Drink a beer, save a tree" at this celebration of bottom fermented beer. Come taste beers from Hawaii to Boston! Entry fee includes a presentation of awards for exceptional lagers, music by Grass it up and Big Paddy, unlimited sampling (within reason) and a commemorative tasting glass. All profits from this event are donated to Pikes Peak region open spaces!

After raising nearly $15,000 for local open spaces, the Craft Lager Festival is moving into a more green phase of business operation: "Drink a Beer, Save a Tree."
    New this year:
    • All our printing is done on paper produced from a high yield and eco-friendly process focused on sustainable paper production.
    • Our T - Shirts are 100% organic cotton this year, in efforts to support more environmentally sound farming practices. 2009 will mark the year we begin using more sustainable products such as bamboo and hemp!
    • The Fest will be powered by a van our good friend owns covered with solar panels. The van can output as much as 1 kilowatt of energy at a time. This should be more then enough to power to run the sound stage, registers and anything else ... therefore we won't need to tap into city power at all!
