There is going to be an awesome free jazz clinic open to the general public with jazz saxophonist Brad Leali and his quartet sponsored by Broadmoor Academy Of Music (BAM), Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society, and Ken Miller Entertainment. The goal is to get Jr. High, High School, College, and Adults excited about America's true art form, Jazz. There is no admission fee, so bring your friends, family, band directors, and school bands.

Mr. Leali's the new jazz saxophone instructor at University of North Texas taking the place of Jim Riggs, and a graduate of North Texas. University of North Texas has one of the best Jazz Programs in the world, and is one of the top music schools for everything!! People attend their music school from all over the world. He's been a member of the Harry Connick Jr. Big Band as musical director, and a member of the Count Basie Orchestra. He's lived in NYC for a long time playing in top jazz clubs there. His quartet will be performing at Dazzle Jazz Club August 7 and 8 in Denver. BAM Jazz group will be playing a couple of songs for the clinic, and while people are coming in for the clinic.

All students that want to play will most likely have a chance to play some tunes as well. So bring your instruments and have some tunes memorized like "Billie's Bounce", "Tenor Madness", "Summertime", "Autumn Leaves", "Take The A Train", etc....

If you have any questions you'd like to ask Brad Leali, please formulate the questions before the clinic and write them down on a piece of paper and bring with you.
