First Friday for September features "Space Between Dreams: Art in the spirit of Yoga and meditation" in Smokebrush's Main Gallery. The great Yoga texts speak a lot about the notion of space and dreams. This exhibition brings together the work of artists from Colorado, Arizona, and Iowa. Some explore and express the ideas within Yoga philosophy, asana (posture), meditative and dream spaces. Others are Yoga practitioners themselves and this sensibility manifests itself in the artwork without specifically serving as representations of the acts of Yoga and meditation. Artists include: Robin Anderson, Christy Callaham, Tara Catalano, Holly Conlon, Paul Dahlsten, Holly Parker, Peace Project Ceramics (a MUM University student collective), Regan Rosburg, Jim Shrosbree, Maja Sommersted, Kat Tudor, LuDel Walter, Brett Wilson.
