Improvisational comedy troupe The RiP will continue the highly successful run of their Denver based improv show locally. Entitled "The Best Friday Night You'll Have Since Thursday," the show will feature the area's best improv comedy, including Colorado Springs' only long-form improvisational troupe. "The Best Friday Night You'll Have Since Thursday" features The RiP performing a combination of short-form improv, in the style of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and the long-form improv scene, "The RiP-isode." Created by The RiP, this comedic thrill ride uses audience suggestions to create an episodic journey that continues from one show to the next. "This show is unlike anything that has ever been seen in the Springs before," say RiP member Jordan Arrick. "By the end of the night the crowds are just as spent as us, because they truly are a part of the action." The show promises to be high-energy and purely entertaining as the six members of The RiP create on-the-spot hilarity using audience suggestions.
