It's a Battle of Ideas at the Faculty Throwdown! The InterDisciplinary Experimental Arts program at Colorado College invites the public to attend the first Faculty Throwdown event on Wednesday, September 10 at 3:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Throwdown series invites two faculty members to debate their interpretations of the current exhibition in the I.D.E.A. Space. Each professor will have fifteen minutes to share thoughts on the exhibition. At the conclusion of the second session, the audience will be encouraged to ask questions and offer their own interpretations. For the inaugural Throwdown, Jonathan Lee, Professor of Philosophy and Kathy Giuffre, Associate Professor of Sociology, will share and debate their interpretations of The Architecture of Desire. Join us to cheer the participants on, join in the conversation, or just relax and enjoy the exhibition.

For more information call 719-227-8263 or visit www.theIDEAspace.com. For directions or disability accommodation at the event, members of the public may call (719) 389-6607. The Architecture of Desire is sponsored by: The Robert & Ruby Priddy Charitable Trust, The National Endowment for the Arts, The Elizabeth Firestone Graham Foundation, and the Bee Vradenburg Foundation.
