This summit, presented by COPPeR, will bring together artists, arts administrators, and arts educators for a guided discussion to create a vision and alignment on what role the arts will play in our community five, 15 and 20 years into the future. This is your chance to contribute to our Collaborative Community Planning Process, an effort to engage in cultural planning for our region. COPPeR will work with facilitators from the Colorado Council on the Arts Peer Assistance Network to help ensure tangible outcomes from the event. The summit is a five-year follow-up to the original Arts Summit held in June 2003 at Penrose House. The Summit is part of the Dream City collaboration, a proactive, inclusive community visioning process involving everyday citizens from all sectors of the community.
