It's time to jump into your lederhosen and dirndls and yodel your way over to Oktoberfest at the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts. The festivities will feature the finest in German food and imported beer. The Continentals Polka Band will provide festive music for dancing and listening.
Oktoberfest originated in 1810 as a wedding feast of Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Theresa of Saxony-Hildburghausen on October 12th. Prince Ludwig invited all the people of Munich and Oktoberfest was born. Now Oktoberfest is celebrated all over the world including Palmer Lake at the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts. Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts is dedicated to creating community partnerships for demonstrating, teaching, exhibiting and promoting the arts and humanities.
Tickets are $25 TLCA members and $30 non-members and available at TLCA (719-481-0475).
