The New York Times called Bill Bowers' one-man show "zestful and endearing ... full of life" and The Backstage exclaimed "brilliant writing, a profound theme, riveting stories and a warm winsome personality."

Compared to the work of David Sedaris and Claudia Shear, this is a uniquely crafted autobiography in which Bill shares funny, heartbreaking, and unbelievable true stories from his career as an actor and mime, and his life-long exploration of the role silence plays in all of our lives.
