Add Review/CommentDaisy McConnell has been exhibiting her art regionally and nationally since 1998, having graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Studio Art that same year. She has worked in many media, including printmaking, sculptural installation, and encaustic painting; her newest body of work explores the layers and textures inherent in the ancient medium of encaustic (Beeswax) painting. Her subject matter is broad, referencing everything from motherhood, to feminine undergarments to the insect world, often combining elements from disparate themes.
