Opening Reception for Katherine McNeill's Seasons in the Sun

Add Review/CommentCome help celebrate the latest body of work by contemporary master artist and art educator Katherine McNeill. As you contemplate her life-like “Seasons in the Sun” oils, you will sense the serenity of mountain landscapes and quaking aspen groves which reach for the sky, seemingly to grow beyond the canvas, all the way to heaven. Renowned for her unique style, critics comment on her placement of light in a magical, refreshing way combined with layering, composition detailing, and mixing of nature’s colors without luminous paints, for a result that has a calming effect stirring the soul. Katherine will demonstrate her technique starting at 1:00 pm. Reception includes live music and refreshments from 6-8 pm. Visit the week prior to reserve your purchase before opening night and enjoy a special price.
