Pumpkin Carving Party & Jack-o-lantern Trail

Are you looking for an artistic, educational and safe Halloween activity, suitable for children with their parents, grandparents and/or mentors? Come to Fountain Creek Nature Center and participate in the 10th annual Pumpkin Carving Party & Jack-o-lantern Trail. Up to 200 pumpkins will be available for carving, with tools provided by the nature center. Reservations are requested to guarantee your pumpkin. Come evening, the 3/4 mile trail will be lit with these uniquely carved jack-o-lanterns with designs ranging from wild animals to traditional faces. You may also meet several friendly animal characters along the way, watch an owl slide show in the center, meets a live tarantula, and receive a candy treat. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite animal costume.
