    Starting the Play

    Join award-winning playwright Judy Gebauer and explore the structure, strengths and challenges of the increasingly popular ten-minute play. You'll discover some creative and fun methods for getting your play under way as you learn how to get the audience to watch ... and keep on watching. Writing exercises will be discussed in class and those attending the full day workshop will have the opportunity to have their play read on stage by...

You'll discover some creative and fun methods for getting your play under way as you learn how to get the audience to watch ... and keep on watching. Writing exercises will be discussed in class and those attending the full day workshop will have the opportunity to have their play read on stage by professional actors. Bring pen and paper, laptop and your imagination to explore this exciting new form of theatre. Resister early! (Class size is limited to 16. Scholaraships available.)

    Parking:

    There is plenty of on and off street parking at the MAT. You can park along either Pecan or Spectra Streets. Parking is available next door at the Japanese Auto Specialists (uphill), and in the alley area behind the theater (go past the building and turn left). Handicap Parking is available at the rear of the building with direct access to stage seating.
