From October 27 to November 14, internationally renowned sculptor Patrick Dougherty will create a site-specific sculpture on the Colorado College campus. On November 14, join us to help celebrate the sculpture's completion. In the last 20 years, Dougherty has created more than 150 sculptures in the United States, Europe and Asia. Comprised of hundreds of woven tree saplings and twigs, Dougherty's unique, site-specific sculptures integrate natural and man-made environments. Simultaneously intricate and effortless, the sculptures seem almost to have been made through a force of nature, swirled together by prairie winds or constructed by birds. Dougherty's sculpture at Colorado College should last for approximately two years.

Sponsored by the Robert & Ruby Priddy Charitable Trust.
