Add Review/CommentClassical Music salon, home concert with food, drink and social time. This program will feature beautiful music in an intimate setting by some unusual composers, and you will have the opportunity to chat with some really neat people. The musical portion of the program includes: Trio in E-flat by Gustav Jenner (Jenner was Brahms' only pupil!), new works by two Colorado woman composers, Julianza Shavin & Sylvia Hazlerig. The Shavin songs are set to the words of local acclaimed poet, Yousuf Zaigham. The evening will be rounded out by some lively dances by Argentine composer, Alberto Ginastera. The music is brought to you by some of the finest performers in the Pikes Peak region: Cindy Saunders, soprano, Lee Barnes, clarinet, Dave Stoller, horn, Julianza Shavin, piano, Abe Minzer, piano.
