    El Toro De La Muerte
El Toro de la Muerte was started in early 2006 by Ryan Spradlin and Julian Dumont with the intention of being a pure bar band for the purposes of playing drinking music. Spradlin was listening to a lot of four-chord-farm-rock, like the Good Life and Magnolia Electric Company at the time, and it just seemed like a good way to get back into playing shows quickly. The fledgling Bull had written a few songs as a power duo, but it was seriously lacking the "power" part of “power duo.” So, we set out to find a keyboard player. Spradlin had shared a practice space with Jeff Fuller for years and knew he could play virtually every instrument. He accepted, and as always he was able to jump in blindfolded, hands behind his back, and still play better than either of us. Then the three went looking for a bass player and Mike Nipp was an obvious choice having previously played with Fuller and Spradlin. Plus, Nipp likes to rap which is always entertaining. Voila: El Toro de la Muerte!
