    "So much of life and so much of art-making is direct and intentional even though the Muse prods us in quiet ways. There are times when I enjoy stepping out of myself. Hamada-sensei said this with his teabowls, I do this with scraps of clay. I call them meditations. --Roger Tolzman A few years ago while I was suffering some medical problems I needed some therapy for stress. This is my therapy. As a student, part of my education in Fine Art included psychology: I am a strong proponent of art therapy.
